CHORISTERS' CORNER

By April Scott

We hope that everyone is staying safe and sound during all these nasty snow storms. Fortunately Tuesday nights have not been too bad and practices have not been affected.

The Choristers are pleased to see Ron Needs back at practice and to hear that Graham Keevill is now home recovering. Hopefully he will be back before too long. Thankfully we have three new bass voices to help with the absentees.

Our accompanist, Vivian Hetherington has been undergoing cataract surgery and has been unable to play for us. As soon as she is able to see 100 percent, she will be back. We wish her well and are very grateful to Ruth Eberts for filling in for her.

Practices have been Sectional for the last few weeks. Sopranos and Altos only one week and the following Tuesday for the Tenors and Basses. With a few new numbers to learn these practices are very helpful for us all.

The Choristers are still hoping to perform a Spring concert and as soon as we know when we will let you know…both here and on Facebook.

Take, care, keep warm and think Spring, which is just down the road.
