CHORISTERS' CORNER

Submitted by April Scott

The weather has not been kind to us this winter. This latest storm has once again cancelled our practice. Of course, we all stayed home and went over our music. The week before we all wished our fearless leader, Bob and a few other people, a very happy birthday.

We have new music, which is always fun and there's a lot of learning to do in the next few weeks. We think our next concert will include many numbers that the audience will remember. We do not have a date for the concert but we will be sure to let you know when we do.

Some of our snowbirds have already returned along with our sick members but as usual we always welcome new voices. We can never have too many. Three new gentlemen have filled our bass

section but our tenor section could use some more voices to balance with them. Please think about coming to join us. Call 705-731-1060 for further information.

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention that Graham Keevill has been in the hospital and likely to be there until the end of February. We really miss his deep bass voice and our thoughts go out to he and his wife during this tough time. Get well soon Graham.

We also miss Ron Needs who has been looking after his wife for the last few weeks and maybe more.

Keep warm during this nasty spell and we will talk to you soon
